In the Summer of 2021, at various locations in western North Carolina, Baseball University will begin after school homework help and guided instruction for players aged 8-18. Baseball U strives to build mentorships, help students achieve academic success, and promote positive baseball culture and work ethic among the youth. We don't turn away any children who are interested. Ask us about sponsorships and scholarships.
We do individual lessons and small group instruction specializing in hitting, fielding, pitching, catcher specific workouts, conditioning, etc. We can provide facilities or we can come to you depending on travel and facilities. We also, offer filming and analysis to help players better understand their mechanics and identify changes they need to make in their approach.
We run mini-camps or skill specific clinics (speed and strength, pitching, or catching clinics, infield, etc.). We are also conducting several affordable youth camps to promote the game of baseball in our region to new communities and demographics. Our main goal is to send players and families home from these camps with a wealth of information and DIY tools to continue progressing through your own routines and training efforts.
We will come to your school, league, church, or your neighborhood to run a camp. rebuild a field, even help establish a league. We wish to grow this beautiful game of baseball which has unfortunately shut its doors to those players who can't afford to play it. We are making efforts to bring this game back to ALL children, no matter their socioeconomic standing. As educators, we can tie in the history, literature, math, and science behind the game into curriculum specific lessons and drills at your school's event. We are actively looking for community sponsorships and donations to help fuel this project.
